Homar Nick Mauras has joined Ocean Financial Services as senior vice president and chief operating officer.
“A 35-year veteran of the financial services industry, Homar brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our firm,” said Manuel del Cañal, Ocean Financial’s CEO. “He will be instrumental in strengthening key partnerships, expanding our investment offering, and enhancing all aspects of the client experience.”
Prior to joining Ocean Financial Services, Mauras spent more than 31 years with Puerto Rico-based Citi International Financial Services, which was acquired by Insigneo Securities in 2022. Mauras earned an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA in Finance from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. He holds the FINRA Series 24 Registered Principal license and will oversee the broker dealer’s sales and operations.
