A Historic Night for Royal Athletics – Friday, October 24, 2025
Immaculata-La Salle High School (ILS) is thrilled to announce that the Royal Lions football team will take the field against Mater Academy for the prestigious NFL Nike Rivalries series on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the “Jungle” on the ILS campus.
“We are honored to have been chosen for the NFL Nike Rivalries program,” said Nick Fernandez, Athletic Director. “This recognition is a testament to the fact that our sports programs are thriving, and it reflects the passion, discipline, and excellence of our entire athletic community.”
This incredible recognition places Immaculata-La Salle among only eight high schools nationwide selected by Nike and the NFL to be featured in this celebrated series—an achievement that highlights the strength and spirit of ILS Athletics.
“Every inch we move forward is proof of the hard work and dedication of our coaches and players,” said Helder Valle, Head Football Coach. “This moment belongs to our entire Royal family—past, present, and future.”
Special Night Highlights: Celebrate our Football and Athletic Training Club seniors and their leadership during an unforgettable Senior Night! The excitement continues with exclusive Nike giveaways— the first 1,500 fans will receive a limited-edition Nike ILS Rivalries T-shirt and towel, and Nike’s mobile shipping container will be on-site creating custom shirts live for fans.
