Celebrity interior designer Taniya Nayak will be helping South Florida homeowners bring home some good advice during a debut appearance on Saturday, Mar. 19, and Sunday, Mar. 20, (2 and 4 p.m.) at the Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show in the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Nayak quickly has become a household name through her work as brand spokesperson for Ellen Degeneres’ new home product line, “E.D. On Air” featured on QVC, and as a featured designer on Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible. She has made numerous appearances on popular shows such as: Rachael Ray Show; Oprah; HGTV’s House Hunters and Design Stars; The Talk with Sharon Osbourne, and many more.
Unique to this show but true to Nayak’s down-to-earth style, she has chosen to present an audience-focused seminar where show-goers can arrive shortly before the scheduled appearance, and speak to her about their design concerns. Nayak will adapt the requests into her talk.

In addition, a survey found on the Home Design and Remodeling Show’s Facebook page will allow homeowners to submit their design questions that can be answered during Nayak’s appearance or through a personal consultation with one of the four featured South Florida interior designers. Brittany Bailey, who writes the blog “Pretty Handy Girl,” will speak at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Mar. 20. Bailey’s DIY Tutorial Blog includes information on painting, sewing, crafting, home décor and improvement, renovations and more.
Consumer Protection Seminar and Q&A with Christina Vazquez who is an Emmy award-winning investigative reporter and creator of the Emmy award-winning Call Christina on WPLG Local 10 News — 1 and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 19.
