JLL announces the company has secured two leases for Montce Swimwear, a high-end swimwear brand that has garnered celebrity following, in Miami’s Coconut Grove’s neighborhood and Sunset Harbour neighborhood in Miami Beach.
Located in the newly reimagined CocoWalk, the new 1,175-square-foot location is a strategic move following the brand’s successful launch in Fort Lauderdale and places Montce Swimwear in one of Miami’s most sought-after and dynamic open-air lifestyle centers. Located at 1800 Bay Rd., the new Sunset Harbour location spans 1,360 square feet and is surrounded by boutique shops, chef-driven restaurants and oceanfront panoramic views.
Jonathan Rosen, JLL executive vice president, represented Montce Swimwear in both of the lease negotiations. Sunset Harbour location was represented by Max Gelband and Sam Noodle from the Comras Company.
Now open at 3015 Grand Ave., Suite 110, the brand’s new space is prominently positioned across from major retailers including Blue Mercury, Free People, and Edward Beiner.
Montce Swimwear has made a name for itself by blending omni-channel sales, from their early days on Shopify and Instagram to their current brick-and-mortar presence and is committed to offering its exclusive collections to customers in person.
The Sunset Harbor location at 1800 Bay Rd. spans 1,360 square feet. This new location will allow Montce Swimwear to cater to Miami Beach’s affluent residents and visitors seeking luxury swimwear and high-end fashion.
“We’re excited to help Montce Swimwear expand their physical retail footprint across South Florida with their two new locations. Coconut Grove is one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in Miami, while Sunset Harbour boasts Miami Beach’s hottest zip code making them the ideal spots for Montce Swimwear’s continued expansion,” Rosen said.
“The new CocoWalk will enhance the brand’s visibility and attract more foot traffic, while Sunset Harbour’s close proximity to vibrant retail and dining options serves as a major draw for consumers.”
Montce Swimwear has become a go-to luxury swimwear brand for celebrities, with its designs worn by Taylor Swift, the Jenners, the Kardashians, Gabrielle Union-Wade, JLo, and more. This high-profile celebrity clientele has helped elevate the brand’s visibility and solidify its status as a leader in the luxury swimwear space.
“Coconut Grove and Sunset Harbour reach two of our key target demographics of residents and tourists. This is the clientele Montce Swimwear wants to connect with as we grow the brand,” said Devin Grief, CEO of Montce Swimwear. “We’ve always believed in the importance of brick-and-mortar retail, and these two locations will allow us to create meaningful connections with our customers while continuing to build on our strong online presence.”
Founded in 2012, Montce Swimwear’s humble beginning kicked off with a focus on online sales through Shopify and Instagram. The brand soon grew to collaborate with local boutiques, the new locations in Coconut Grove and Sunset Harbour represent Montce Swimwear’s commitment to providing high-quality swimwear to an increasingly upscale customer base. Montce Swimwear also has a location at 44 E Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach.
