If there’s one thing Miami knows how to do right, it’s barbecue — and no event proves that better than the 4th Annual Pig Roast Bowl Series: South Florida PBA Law Enforcement Edition, coming to Tropical Park on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025.
The smoke is rising once again, and I couldn’t be prouder to help shine a light on one of the biggest, boldest, and most heartfelt community events in the country. This isn’t just another cookout — it’s the largest pig roast competition in the United States, where more than 100 teams of pros and backyard pitmasters will go head-to-head before a crowd of 5,000 BBQ lovers, families, and supporters.
What makes this event truly special is the spirit behind it. The Pig Roast Bowl isn’t just about food — it’s about community, camaraderie, and charity. It’s about South Florida coming together to honor and support the brave men and women who protect us every single day.
All proceeds from this event benefit the Love Fund, Inc., a nonprofit that has supported fallen officers and their families since 1984. The Love Fund provides funeral assistance, scholarships for children, and counseling for families impacted by the unimaginable stresses of duty. Every rib, every roast, every sponsorship dollar goes toward making sure these families know their community stands behind them — always.
The South Florida Police Benevolent Association (PBA), which represents more than 7,000 law enforcement professionals, has done an extraordinary job building this into one of the most meaningful events on Miami’s calendar. What began as a small gathering has grown into a powerhouse of purpose — a celebration of food, music, and brotherhood that now defines what a real community looks like.
So, mark your calendars — Saturday, Nov. 22, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., at Tropical Park (7900 SW 40th St., Miami) — and join us for an unforgettable day of smoke, sound, and solidarity.
Bring your family. Bring your appetite. Bring your gratitude. Together, let’s honor our heroes, celebrate our culture, and keep the fire roasting for a purpose that truly matters.
See you there!
