A beloved South Florida holiday tradition returns on December 14 to welcome Santa to South Florida
The Junior Orange Bowl is proud to announce the return of its iconic community celebration: the 77th Annual Junior Orange Bowl Parade, taking place on Saturday, December 14, in Coral Gables. For more than seven decades, this parade has marked the start of the holiday season for families across Miami-Dade, drawing spectators young and old to witness the magic of winter festivities in the heart of The City Beautiful.
“The Junior Orange Bowl Parade is a tradition my family looks forward to every year — it brings the whole community together in a way that feels truly magical.”
Every December, the streets of Downtown Coral Gables come alive in celebration. People of all ages are invited to enjoy the sights and sounds of this joyful event that celebrates youth, creativity, local culture, and the holiday spirit.
The parade will feature a variety of participating groups and attractions, including marching bands and drum corps, community organizations, custom-themed floats, motorized units, and even equestrian presentations. These elements come together to create a vibrant, colorful celebration of community pride and seasonal cheer.
“The Junior Orange Bowl Parade isn’t just a tradition — it’s a reminder of who we are as a community. Every year we bring families, schools, performers, and partners together to light up Miracle Mile, and this year will be no different. We’re raising the bar, celebrating our kids, and showing the city what happens when Coral Gables comes together with purpose.” — Kevin Arnoux, President, Junior Orange Bowl
With hundreds of participants & viewers, the Junior Orange Bowl Parade continues to represent the best of South Florida’s community: family-friendly, inclusive, and rooted in tradition, as we are also celebrating Coral Gables’ centennial.
