Organizations that touch lives throughout Greater Miami are recognized for their impact
The Key Biscayne Community Foundation recently awarded 44 grants, effectively doubling its impact, to organizations that improve the quality of life and make a profound difference in the Greater Miami community.
The nonprofits range from youth-focused programs to the arts, environment, social, health, and direct impact organizations. Over the past decade, the Key Biscayne Community Foundation has supported programs that serve the local, broader, and global communities.
Vocal Youth Miami offers students across Miami-Dade a deep connection to music, a sense of community, and the opportunity to perform at venues like the Super Bowl and Carnegie Hall.
“We’re incredibly grateful to the Key Biscayne Community Foundation for investing in our mission. This grant enables us to reach over 400 young people across Miami-Dade, many from under-resourced communities, with high-quality vocal music education. It’s about building confidence, connection and community,” said Jamie Sutta, Founder and Executive Artistic Director, Vocal Youth Miami.
The application period for the 2026 Key Biscayne Community Foundation Discretionary Grant is January 1 to March 31, 2026. More information on the program can be found here: kbcf.org/what-we-do/grants-scholarships/kbcf-discretionary-grant/
“The awards are made possible by donations to the Community Foundation by our generous donors, as well as individual and corporate participation in our yearly fundraiser, the Aqua Party, which increases the funding for grant-making,” said Melissa White, Executive Director, Key Biscayne Community Foundation. “We are honored to support these critical nonprofits that build up and support our communities.”
