Celebrating a decade of academic excellence, Key Point Academy (KPA) has announced its relocation to a new campus at 1501 Biscayne Blvd. in Miami.
Located in the heart of Downtown, the new campus will allow the institution to expand its student body and curriculum from preschool through high school, offering its premier educational program in a new state-of-the-art facility. This expansion marks a significant milestone in Key Point’s heritage, symbolizing a decade of commitment to high-caliber education and community enrichment.
Key Point Academy has established a reputation for academic rigor and innovation since its opening in 2013. Recognizing a significant gap in the private educational landscape in the Downtown corridor, this new campus provides a trusted partner in a convenient geography, catering to families seeking high-quality education in a thriving urban setting.
“Ten years ago, we opened our doors with a mission to cultivate a collaborative space where educators and parents worked together to inspire and motivate children to become constructive members of society,” said Maria Marcos, founder of Key Point Academy. “As we commemorate this occasion, we extend our gratitude for our students, teachers and parents’ profound impact on our community. This expansion not only reflects our legacy but offers a glimpse of our promising future trajectory.”
Key Point Academy enters this new chapter with a renewed focus on the following areas:
Family Nucleus – Key Point Academy embraces multiculturalism and is committed to fostering a nurturing and safe environment tailored to address the unique needs of each child. KPA’s approach includes customized programs that support families through contemporary learning strategies while maintaining a traditional value-based environment.
Inspired by the fruit of the Spirit, Key Point Academy nurtures a culture of respect and encourages students to welcome all faiths. Key Point Academy strives to build leadership skills in every child and prepares students to be constructive members of society.
Academic Rigor – A supportive environment is not mutually exclusive with best-in-class academics. Key Point Academy is a beacon of high standards, blending core subjects with modern pedagogical approaches while challenging students to excel.
Mindfulness – KPA emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, intellectual curiosity, and character development, preparing students not just academically but for life.
A Spirit of Community – No amount of success is meaningful without giving back and playing a positive role in society. At the heart of KPA’s ethos is a commitment to community.
Innovation – Key Point Academy believes it is critical to stay abreast of the latest advancements and prepare students for a modern world. Key Point Academy integrates technology very early, providing digital skills training with a pathway that supports students in identifying their passions and interests in an ever-evolving world.
Claudiane Moraes, founding principal of Key Point Academy, shared her aspirations: “As a firm believer in the power of education, my hope has always been to enrich our collective understanding and serve our communities. At Key Point, we bridge education and real-world applications to foster positive change, and we are excited to extend our services to a rigorous high school curriculum. I will work diligently with our families and faculty to nurture an atmosphere that promotes a learning community characterized by child-centered experiences, trust, respect, and community involvement.”
