The 2023 Kia Soul GT line is sporty and well designed. It’s got great GT badging and style including 18-inch sport alloy wheels.
When walking around the vehicle, you can see it has lots of personality, with plenty of little details that make it attractive including frontage with a large grille that is uniquely styled.
Starting at $23,500, the 2023 Kia Soul GT also has a sunroof and a gloss black grille and side mirrors that combine for a nice package.
The Kia Soul has a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower with 132 pound-feet of torque. It delivers 28 miles per gallon in the city and 33 miles per gallon on the highway for a combined 30 miles per gallon. On a full tank, you get 14.3 gallons.
The 2023 Soul is powered by a single powertrain, with Kia’s intelligent variable transmission as a standard feature across all variants.
On the inside, you get a full digital instrument display for the basic data like speed and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and SiriusXM functionality, with a six-speaker audio system.
I like that the interior accent color is shared throughout the vehicle, particularly around the latches, giving it a stronger sporty profile.
The design allows for a taller hatch, which means more overall room. When you open the back, it feels roomy, and if you need more space, just fold down the seats.
The 2023 Kia Soul features refreshed design elements inside and out and new great colors.
The refreshed front fascia features a new grille adorned with available LED headlights and redesigned fog lights. New daytime running lamps and turn signals round out the front-end redesign. The sporty rear fascia and taillights complete the exterior enhancements.
For the overall line, you have a choice between a multitude of solid and two-tone exterior paint schemes including clear white with fusion black roof and surf blue with a fusion black roof.
Enhanced ADAS and convenience technology includes six standard collision avoidance and safety assist features including auto emergency braking tech and lane following assist. The LX Technology Package also includes blind-spot collision-avoidance and rear-cross-traffic collision avoidance.
I like the 2023 Kia Soul for lots of reasons, including how I can get it in and out of parallel parking like a breeze. It gets great mileage and speeds you through the city in comfort.
Give the 2023 Kia Soul GT a spin and tell me what you think.
