La Gente Del Barrio announced today the official lineup for the 2025 edition of its Home Run Derby & Celebrity Softball Game, taking place Saturday, December 6, 2025, at loanDepot park in Miami. The event returns with an extraordinary gathering of Major League Baseball superstars, global musical acts, and renowned entertainment personalities, making this year’s celebration the most ambitious and culturally meaningful to date.
A major highlight of this year’s announcement is the confirmation of the ten players who will compete in the Home Run Derby, promising one of the most powerful hitting showcases in recent memory. The official HRD participants are, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Junior Caminero, Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto, Oneil Cruz, Noelvi Marte, José Ramírez, Teoscar Hernández, and Elly De La Cruz and Ketel Marte. Their presence sets the tone for an unforgettable display of athleticism and star power on the field.
This one-of-a-kind experience blends baseball, music, and Latin culture for a full day of entertainment that merges competition, community impact, and cultural pride. The festivities will begin with the Celebrity Softball Game at 1:00 PM, followed by the highly anticipated Home Run Derby at 4:00 PM.
Additional MLB athletes confirmed for the event include Anthony Santander, Gleyber Torres, Santiago Espinal, Julio Rodríguez, Ezequiel Tovar, Lourdes Gurriel Jr., and Miguel Rojas. Jorge Posada and Laura Posada will also participate, adding an iconic presence to an already star-studded event.
The entertainment lineup features Gente de Zona, Chef Yisus, Águeda López, Clarissa Molina, Adriana Cataño, Migbelis Castellanos, Tony Dandrades, Aly Sánchez, Jessica Rodríguez, Chef Adrianne, Carlos Adyan, Kodak Black, and Roberto Hernandez. Additional personalities joining the celebration include Rashel Diaz, Formula 1 driver Maite Cáceres, Maity Interiano, La Gatita de El Zol, Paulina Sodi, Carolina Sarassa, Satcha Pretto, Daniella Urbay, and Bonco Quinongo. Hosting duties will be carried out by Enrique Santos, Orlando León, and Gloria Ordaz.

Proceeds from the Home Run Derby and Celebrity Softball Game will support the La Gente del Barrio Foundation, the VG 27 Foundation founded by Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and additional charitable partners dedicated to youth development and community initiatives across Latin America and the United States.
