Miami-Dade Fire Rescue is one of 18 fire rescue departments in South Florida assisting under the State Emergency Response Plan, and as part of a Regional Ambulance Strike Team, to administer shots to Holocaust survivors in South Florida. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, Coral Gables Fire Rescue, Key Biscayne Fire Rescue, City of Miami Fire Rescue, and Miami Beach Fire Rescue, along with 13 other strike teams from Palm Beach and Broward fire rescue departments, will continue the mission to administer COVID-19 vaccine to South Florida Holocaust survivors.
