Nearly 600 sailors from 20 countries converged on Coconut Grove in late December for the 2021 Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta (OBIYR) hosted by Coral Reef Yacht Club.
Westminster Christian School senior Enzo Menditto (skipper), and Julien Waite (crew), a sophomore at MAST Academy, secured second place in the Club 420 class. Of the ten races completed during the four-day event, Enzo and Julien were able to secure multiple first, second, and third place finishes. The Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta remains the largest international youth regatta in the country.
