Young Musicians Unite’s flagship band, Undercover, opened Miami Jingle Ball 2025 at the Kaseya Center, delivering a high-energy performance and standing out as one of the few Miami-based acts on the lineup.
The annual holiday concert is presented by iHeartRadio and Y100, bringing global artists and emerging talent to one of South Florida’s largest music stages.
The performance marked the launch of a new partnership between iHeartRadio and Young Musicians Unite, aimed at expanding opportunities for young musicians across Miami. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to mentorship, access, and real-world performance experiences for the city’s next generation of artists.
Undercover opened the show to a sold-out arena, setting the tone for a night featuring international and chart-topping performers including Nelly, Feid, and Monsta X. Their inclusion highlighted the importance of elevating homegrown talent alongside global acts on major platforms.
“Playing Miami Jingle Ball was the largest opportunity our students and organization have ever had,” said Sammy Gonzalez Zeira, CEO of YMU. “Moments like this do not happen by accident. They happen because someone is willing to trust young people who have put in the work. I want to sincerely thank Richard Bressler and iHeartRadio for believing in our students and opening the door to this experience.”
The band also participated in red carpet appearances and media coverage throughout the evening, including interviews with Y100 and NBC 6.
Backstage, the students met and took photos with headline artists Machine Gun Kelly, Sean Paul, Zara Larsson, and Kehlani, creating meaningful moments of inspiration.
Opening Miami Jingle Ball 2025 represents a major milestone for Young Musicians Unite and Undercover, underscoring what is possible when local talent is supported, prepared, and placed on world-class stages.
Miami-based Young Musicians Unite believes that every student in Miami-Dade deserves access to music education regardless of their socio-economic background. They collaborate with schools to provide free music education, which has been proven to inspire personal development, foster a sense of community and prepare our future leaders.
