“We are incredibly grateful to have such an accomplished and dedicated group of local leaders on our board,” said Kevin Stamper, LSF’s Vice President of Development. “Their diverse expertise and perspectives are invaluable as we continue developing impactful programs that support our at-risk youth and their families.”

      Marco Lopez

Lopez is a CPA and Audit Manager at ZOMMA Group, LLP where he oversees the management and execution of audit engagements. He has over a decade of experience in the accounting field and is a member of the American and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is president of the Cuban American CPA Association and sits on the board of the United Way Audit Committee. Yaneth Baez

Baez, an Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, currently serves in the Human Trafficking Unit where she has led complex investigations and successfully prosecuted high-profile cases. Previously, she was Chief of the Misdemeanor Domestic Violence Unit, overseeing thousands of cases and mentoring new prosecutors. A Miami native, Baez earned her B.S. in political science from Florida International University and her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law where she was recognized for her excellence in trial advocacy and public interest work.  Baez is active in community outreach and professional organizations, including the League of Prosecutors and the National Black Prosecutors Association. She is also a frequent speaker on human trafficking awareness and is currently pursuing a seat as a County Court Judge in Miami-Dade County.

      Vivian Z. Chavez

Chavez has been a dedicated leader at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. since 1998, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer. With extensive experience in operations, human resources, program administration and legal advocacy, she plays a key role in guiding the organization’s strategic and administrative functions. Chavez is a licensed attorney in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida with a strong background in nonprofit leadership and public interest law.  She holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Florida International University.
