Miami audiences have a new kind of night out.
“Magic Night Miami,” a monthly live entertainment experience produced by Magic Night Miami and co-presented with Fantasy Theatre Factory at the Sandrell Rivers Theater, 6103 NW Seventh Ave., is introducing an immersive cabaret-style format that blends close-up magic, mentalism, and live stage performance into one continuous evening.
Running monthly from April through October, the series invites audiences into a two-part experience designed to feel interactive, social, and immediate — where the magic happens not just on stage, but all around the room.
Each evening begins at 7:30 p.m. with the “Magic Lab,” an informal, high-energy pre-show where magicians perform close-up illusions at tables, throughout the space, and directly with guests. The experience then transitions into an 8 p.m. cabaret-style mainstage performance, featuring a curated lineup of nationally recognized magicians, mentalists, and specialty performers, with a rotating featured act each month.
The upcoming show is scheduled for Apr. 23.
Unlike traditional illusion shows viewed from a distance, Magic Night Miami is intentionally intimate — placing audiences just feet from the action and making participation part of the experience. The format emphasizes spontaneity, personality, and connection, offering something closer to a live encounter than a conventional theater performance.
Co-founded by mentalist Alan Chamo and magician Yarden Shalev, the series aims to establish a consistent home for live magic in Miami — an offering that aligns with the city’s identity while filling a gap in its recurring cultural programming.
“We wanted to create a night that feels different from anything else in the city — something social, surprising, and interactive, where the audience is part of what’s happening,” Chamo said.
Early audience response has been strong, with attendees describing the experience as “one of the best nights out in Miami,” “a perfect date night,” and “a fantastic, creative show that feels completely different from anything else in the city.”
With its highly visual format, live audience interaction, and rotating cast of performers, Magic Night Miami also offers strong opportunities for television segments, radio features, and live demonstrations, making it particularly well-suited for broadcast and lifestyle media coverage.
The series is presented in partnership with Fantasy Theatre Factory as part of ongoing efforts to expand accessible, high-quality cultural programming in Miami.
The program is recommended for ages 12 and older.
