PAWS4you, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and care of dogs and cats, partnered with Pai-Shau to present a glamorous “Paws on Board” gala aboard the Seafair mega yacht on Saturday, Jan. 27.
The event, held at Bayfront South Dock, Chopin Plaza, showcased a night of elegance, excitement, and philanthropy, resulting in a resounding success.
The backdrop of Miami’s skyline provided a stunning setting for the festivities. Attendees embraced the Miami Chic atmosphere, beginning with a cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by a live auction and delectable dinner. The Seafair set sail for an unforgettable fireworks display, casino, and nightclub experience on the water, returning to the dock just before midnight to conclude the night’s festivities.
The highlight of the evening was not just the glamour but the generosity of the attendees.
The funds raised will go towards renovating PAWS4you’s existing facility and to their mission to rescue and nurture dogs and cats back to health so they can find permanent loving homes.
“Our ‘Paws on Board’ gala was a celebration of compassion and unity, bringing together individuals and families committed to making a difference in the lives of animals,” said Carol Caridad, founder and executive director of PAWS4you.
Gala chairs Kathy Cowan and Ann Rubino, Ambassador Linda Gibb, and emcees Cynthia Demos, Julie Guy, and Tamara G entertained and energized the crowd to help raise funds for the noble cause. Caridad and the dedicated committee members extended their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of “Paws on Board.”
