Main Street Players is presenting the second production of their 2022 season, Black Sheep by Lee Blessing.

A prominent family’s “black sheep” nephew, the son of an interracial marriage, comes to stay with them after being released from prison. But do they want him? And what does he want from them?

In this dark comedy, issues of race, sex and family values play out with wildly comic and disturbing results. The show is directed by Brandon Urrutia.

The cast is as follows: Michael Vadnal as Nelson; Jennifer Weiner, Serene; Lucy Lopez, Elle; Anthony Wolff, Max, and Kyran Wright, Carl.

Black Sheep continues through Aug. 14 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults; $25 for students, seniors, (65-plus) and military personnel. Theatre League/Industry members arw $20 with ID at the door only. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.mainstreetplayers.com or at the door 60 minutes prior to showtime.
