Four Miami Dade College (MDC) student publications — AXIS, Urbana, Miambiance and The Reporter — have been awarded prestigious Pacemaker awards.
The prize, presented by the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP), is the highest distinction given to collegiate publications. The publications were recently honored during the ACP’s virtual presentation of the Fall National College Media Convention.
Honored as the nation’s best in the newspaper category, The Reporter has won a total four Pacemakers since its founding in 2010, including one last year.
