MDFR firefighters participate In Fight for Air Climb Miami
Donning full turnout gear, MDFR firefighters climbed 1,700 steps, ascending and descending the entire lower bowl of the stadium.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) firefighters and cadets, on Sunday, Mar. 1, joined departments from across South Florida and hundreds of community members for the 22nd anniversary of the Fight for Air Climb Miami, hosted by the American Lung Association and presented by Metro-Dade Firefighters IAFF Local 1403 at loanDepot Park.

Donning full turnout gear, MDFR firefighters climbed 1,700 steps, ascending and descending the entire lower bowl of the stadium, to promote physical fitness and raise awareness and funds to end lung disease.

The annual event brings together firefighters and the community in a powerful show of solidarity, highlighting the critical importance of lung health while demonstrating the strength, endurance, and community commitment of South Florida’s first responders.
