Miami Children's Museum celebrates Noon Year’s Eve, Saturday, Dec. 31
The main hall of MCM will be transformed into a Times Square-like atmosphere with the museum’s biggest and best balloon drop ever.

3, 2, 1, Happy New Year! Well, not quite, but it’s never too early to kick off a fabulous New Year’s party.

Once again Miami Children’s Museum is celebrating the New Year just a little bit earlier. Ring in the New Year (a few hours early) with a countdown to noon, fun crafts, a stage performance by the MCM Players and an unforgettable balloon drop.

The party begins on Saturday, Dec. 31, when doors open at 10 a.m. It will be a festive time leading up to the noon celebration with special activities and projects throughout the museum. But try to be there by 11:30 for all the action.

Come early and join the MCM Theater Troupe for fun during the pre-show and dress up for the occasion with accessory giveaways (while supplies last). The main hall of MCM will be transformed into a Times Square like atmosphere with an apple juice toast and MiChiMu counting down to the noon hour with the museum’s biggest and best balloon drop ever and confetti cannons shooting off all over. Voila, happy Noon Year’s Eve! After the balloon drop, stick around for more fun to help you continue the celebrations during the nighttime.

Admission is $24 for adults and children, $16 for Florida residents, free for children under 1 year and admission for MCM members is complimentary. For more information, contact the museum at 305-373-KIDS (5437) or visit www.miamichildrensmuseum.org.
