Miami Children’s Museum names new board members

Miami Children’s Museum has announced the current appointments to the board of directors.

Scott Wagner, a partner at Bilzin Sumberg, will assume the duties as president of the board. Wagner led Bilzin Sumberg’s Antitrust Team in achieving tremendous results for major opt-out plaintiffs in the precedent-setting LCD and CRT price-fixing litigations, some of the largest antitrust litigations in recent history. In addition to his antitrust and litigation work, Wagner serves as trusted counsel to public and private companies, entrepreneurs and developers. He renders high-level legal and business advice on a wide variety of issues.

Other board members named include:
Roberto Pedroso, senior vice president, Real Estate Relationship Manager-Senior Real Estate Banking, City National Bank of Florida.

Reginald Sainvil, an associate at Baker & McKenzie LLP.

Greg Sandler, senior corporate counsel at Goal Solutions and chief compliance officer at Goal Investment Management.

Karin Ajmani, Healthcare executive and entrepreneur currently sitting on the board of directors at Tympa Health Technologies, Spring Health, Caption Health, Cleo, SWORD Health, and Digital Health.

Joseph Leuchter, CPA at Berkowitz Pollack. Works closely with individuals and businesses on their accounting, compliance and planning.

Dr. Paige Siper, A licensed clinical psychologist and chief psychologist of the Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment.

Dr. Gilma Marimon, owner of Marimón Pediatrics, a boutique pediatric practice with 15 years’ experience in the medical field.

Anton Fajardo, partner/consultant at Mckinsey. A technologist with over 20 years of industry experience in the cybersecurity, healthcare, media, telecommunications and digital marketing industries.

Ashley Boyd, co-collaborates with husband Jason Paul Douglas Boyd, better known by his stage name Poo Bear an American songwriter, singer, and music producer best known for being one of Justin Bieber’s main collaborators.

“We are delighted to welcome these distinguished and hard-working individuals to our board,” said Deborah Spiegelman, CEO and executive director of the museum. “We look forward to having them work with us as the premier institution serving young children and their families through arts and culture, science, literacy, and early childhood education.”

Miami Children’s Museum offers bilingual and interactive exhibits, programs, classes and learning materials related to arts, culture, community and communication. The museum has 17 interactive galleries and houses many exciting and fun traveling exhibits.  Miami Children’s Museum is dedicated to enriching the lives of all children by fostering a love of learning through play and enabling children to realize their highest potential.

Through arts and educational programs, the museum seeks to include and target all audiences in Miami’s changing and diverse community by being the “town center” for Miami-Dade County’s children and families.
