As Miami-Dade County was impacted recently by heavy rains and flooding as a result of Potential Tropical Cyclone One, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) deployed its flood response assets to areas where heavy localized flooding has made some streets inaccessible.
Using a high-water vehicle, MDFR crews assisted individuals that have been impacted by the flooding in their homes by relocating them to higher ground.
