Elected officials, community leaders, partners, stakeholders, and employees gathered at Elections Headquarters to mark the occasion
Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections, the Honorable Alina Garcia, tonight delivered the Office’s inaugural State of Elections Address at Elections Headquarters, marking a historic milestone for the Office of the Supervisor of Elections. The first-of-its-kind event convened elected officials, community leaders, partners, stakeholders, and employees to reflect on progress made and outline a forward-looking vision for Miami-Dade’s elections.
During the address, Supervisor Garcia released the Office’s 2025 Annual Report, detailing significant gains in elections security, accuracy, transparency, accessibility, voter education, outreach, and public engagement, as well as major awards and recognitions earned over the past year. The report highlights a year of focused investments in modernization, strengthened elections integrity, expanded voter access, and measurable improvements to the voter experience at every touchpoint.
“Tonight, I was humbled and grateful to stand alongside our dedicated team and so many partners who share our commitment to protecting democracy,” said Supervisor Garcia. “As we look ahead to a pivotal election year—and our nation’s 250th birthday—this inaugural State of Elections Address reflects both how far we’ve come and the important work that still lies ahead.”
The 2025 Annual Report underscores the Office’s continued commitment to building public trust through transparency, innovation, and accountability, while ensuring every eligible voter has safe, secure, and accessible opportunities to participate in the democratic process.
