The Miami Foundation has announced that Marianne Maduro has joined the organization as its senior program officer. Maduro will lead the foundation’s grant programs and ensure that grant making is aligned with the foundation’s goal of building a stronger community through leadership and philanthropy.
“As we strive to make strategic investments in addressing community needs, it is essential that the Miami Foundation have someone like Marianne,” said Javier Alberto Soto, president of the Miami Foundation. “With her knowledge of the community, she will play a key role in the future of our organizational growth.”
Maduro previously was Corporate Social Responsibility Market Specialist for Bank of America.
Maduro holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University and resides in Miami Shores.
Established in 1967, the Miami Foundation has helped hundreds of people create personal, permanent and powerful legacies by establishing custom, charitable funds. With foundation expertise, fund holders have fostered the arts, awarded scholarships, championed diversity, taught kids to read, provided food and shelter for the hungry and homeless, and more.
