Miami Grill restaurant chain has released a new series of artists cups for the seventh annual Wynwood Mural Fest, which will take place during the upcoming Art Basel event in Miami Beach, Wynwood and other locations. The cups are designed by four notable artists whose art reflects the style that is a big part of South Florida.

All four designs are available now, the last one issued on Apr. 7. The sturdy reusable plastic cups are available for $2.49 with the purchase of a meal deal or $2.99 if sold separately.

Guests can get a beverage refill for 99 cents when they bring back their collectible cup.

Miami Grill is a long-time sponsor of Wynwood Mural Fest, a celebration of street art, graffiti and independent culture coinciding with the internationally renowned Art Basel Miami Beach. The cup collection was designed by four rising stars on the street art scene: Grabster, from Brazil; Didi, born in Peru; Florida native Ripes, and Sicilian artist Claudia LaBianca.

“It’s inspiring to see the artwork created for local art festivals, and we’re proud to once again help make it happen through our partnership with the art collective,” said Jonathan H. Vogel, CEO of Miami Grill. “Celebrating the vibrant spirit of our hometown and paying homage to the people who live here has always been the foundation of our restaurants.

Our goal is to bring the community together to enjoy the many flavors of Miami, as well as its energy and attitude.”

About the artists:

Grabster — Born in Brazil and raised in New York, Grabster developed his artistic talent in South Florida. He pulls inspiration from decades of independent study and his eclectic upbringing to create colorful, dynamic and skillful works.

Didi — Peru native Diana “Didi” Contreras has established herself as a prolific Miami-based visual artist, painting murals in the urban art scene and exhibiting canvas pieces in galleries. Her work has been shown in exhibitions and private collections around the world.

Ripes — Born in West Palm Beach, Ripes brings many influences to his art, from cartoons he watched growing up to the art and graffiti he saw in this area throughout the years. His style is defined by harsh contrasts.

Claudia LaBianca — Claudia developed her passion for painting while growing up in Sicily, painting her fantastical world on anything she could access. Her experience in Sicily propels her into Miami’s saturated street art scene, where her murals, some 30 feet tall, flourish around every corner.
