The Miami Marlins today announced the hiring of Nate Medrano as Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service. Mr. Medrano will work closely with Senior Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service Ryan Davenport in positioning the department for long-term growth and success. In his role, he will oversee Marlins Memberships, Premium Sales, Inside Sales, and Membership Experience.
Mr. Medrano joins the Marlins from the Miami Dolphins organization, where he served as Senior Director, Luxury and Membership Services. In that role, he oversaw the service and retention of luxury and suites across the Miami Dolphins, Miami Open and the Formula 1® Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix.
Medrano began his career with the Dolphins in 2017 and rose through the ranks, beginning as a sales development representative. During his time in membership service (2021-23), the Dolphins established their largest membership base, broke the all-time season ticket renewal record, surpassed the most ticket sales revenue sold all-time, sold out of season tickets for the first time in franchise history and established the first ever season ticket waitlist. Medrano was promoted to his most recent role in December 2023.

“As we continue to invest in our Ticket Sales team, we are excited to welcome Nate to our organization, bringing his knowledge, leadership, and strategic thinking as we build a strong foundation for long-term growth,” said Marlins President of Business Caroline O’Connor. “Nate will support and strengthen the strategies implemented by Ryan and have us in a strong position for the opportunities ahead.”

“I have seen firsthand Nate’s commitment to excellence and his ability to drive results,” said Marlins Senior Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service Ryan Davenport. “In his role, he will focus on establishing the necessary foundation that will put our sales team in position to flourish and foster an unwavering team environment. With Opening Day around the corner on March 27, we are excited to welcome Nate to the team for what will be an incredible start to the season.”
The native of Vista, Calif. received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Bucknell University. He was a student-athlete at Bucknell, where he played football for four years. Mr. Medrano currently resides in Fort Lauderdale with his wife, Erika.
The Miami Marlins begin the 2025 regular season on Thursday, March 27, vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates at 4:10 p.m. at loanDepot park. For more information on the Marlins, please visit Marlins.com and MarlinsBeisbol.com.
