New Destination Enhances Family Experience with Interactive Play, Technology, and In-Game Entertainment
The Miami Marlins today announced the debut of the newly reimagined Billy’s Kids Zone at loanDepot park, a vibrant family-focused destination designed to elevate the ballpark experience for younger fans and their families.
Previously located on the Promenade Level, Billy’s Kids Zone has been relocated to the Legends Level, offering a more immersive and accessible environment that reinforces the organization’s commitment to putting fans first and creating memorable experiences for all ages.
The redesigned space features a wide range of activations, including multiple PlayStation gaming stations, a curated selection of arcade games, and an AI-powered “Build Your Own Bobblehead” experience available exclusively for weekend games. Young fans can also step into the action with a batting cage and tee setup, while a dedicated turf area with bean bags provides room for play, relaxation and rotating activities such as face painting, puzzles and reading stations.
Billy’s Kids Zone will also introduce new in-game engagement, highlighted by a special photo opportunity with Billy the Marlin during the fifth inning, giving families a memorable moment to capture their visit to loanDepot park.
To further enhance the gameday experience, Diamond Dough pizza will feature expanded snack and candy offerings tailored to younger fans, complementing the playful atmosphere of the space. Billy’s Slugger kids’ merchandise will now be located near Section 228, creating a seamless retail experience for families.
