Jorge Guerra Jr., broker with Real Estate Sales Force in Miami, was installed in January as treasurer of Florida Realtors, the state’s largest professional trade association with more than 238,000 members.
“We have a strong leadership team that is deeply committed to supporting communities across the state,” he said.
Looking ahead to 2024, Guerra expects continued demand for all types of residential and investment properties through the state. “Our high quality of life, combined with financial advantages like low taxes will continue to attract buyers from throughout the country and around the world,” said Guerra, who is active in residential and commercial brokerage.
A leader in regional, state and national real estate associations, Guerra is a member of the Miami Association of Realtors, serving as 2020 chair. He is a former chair of the Miami Young Professional Network, and a former president of the Miami Residential Board. He has been a director for the state association and served as a global liaison for the National Association of Realtors.
As treasurer for Florida Realtors, Guerra will focus on helping Realtors deliver the highest level of service to their clients and communities through information, advocacy and support programs. “We need to adhere to the highest standards of our profession and demonstrate the value we provide to our customers in every transaction,” he said.
Guerra added that Florida’s Realtors are dedicated to supporting the state’s housing market and protecting private property rights.
“Our members are powerful advocates for their communities,” he said. “Every day they volunteer for worthy causes and strive to make things better for everyone.”
Florida Realtors serves as the voice for real estate in Florida. It provides programs, services, continuing education, research and legislative representation to its more than 238,000 members in 51 boards/associations.
