Miami Solid Waste Department Administrative Building closed

The City of Miami’s Department of Solid Waste’s Administrative Building, located at 1290 NW 20 St. in Miami, is closed to the public due to renovations until further notice.

Residents receiving Solid Waste services are encouraged to dispose of their garbage, recycling, and bulky trash on their scheduled collection days. Additionally, residents can dispose of bulky trash items at the Department of Solid Waste Mini Dump Facility, open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Proof of City of Miami residency is required.

If you need to report a problem due to a missed collection or service-related issue, visit the website at www.miamizerowaste.com or call 3-1-1. The customer service center also is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 305-960-2801 or 305-960-2808. All inquiries about Code Compliance Citations and the replacement of damaged or stolen carts can be handled appropriately through the customer service team as well.
