Miami Worldcenter to celebrate grand opening with star-studded concert and block party, May 22Miami’s newest lifestyle destination, Miami Worldcenter, is rolling out the red carpet for an unforgettable opening celebration – and everyone is invited to the party.

The 27-acre $6 billion development, more than a decade in the making, is redefining Downtown Miami with world-class dining, retail, luxury residences, hotels, and entertainment.

A free concert hosted by Miami’s own DJ Irie And DJ Scotty B will kick off with a moving rendition of God Bless the USA by Grammy Award-winning artist Lee Greenwood, followed by performances by international superstars Flo Rida, Nicky Jam, and Shaggy. The night will include a fireworks spectacular, laser light show, special FX, confetti storm, and more — all culminating in an electrifying block party performance by Alesso.

Guests also will enjoy food and beverage tastings and immersive street activations hosted by dozens of retail and dining tenants now open at Miami Worldcenter.

At all takes place at 850 NE Second Ave. on May 22. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert begins promptly at 7:30 p.m.

Use of public transportation and ride sharing is strongly encouraged. Miami Worldcenter is easily accessible and within walking distance from the Brightline, Metrorail, Tri-Rail, Metromover, and trolley systems. Parking will be available in nearby garages (644 NE Second Avenue and 888 NE Second Avenue).
