Milam’s Market announces opening of landmark store at Link at Douglas
New Milam’s Market interior

Milam’s Market, a premier family-owned and operated grocery store based in Miami-Dade County, opened its sixth and newest store the morning of Dec. 1 as part of Link at Douglas, a seven-acre development transforming Miami-Dade County’s Douglas Road Metrorail station into a mixed-use transit hub. The store is located at 3050 SW 37 Ave.

The 25,000-square-foot store is a central element in the highly anticipated development by 13th Floor Investments and Adler Development — a new concept offering connected luxe living for the urban lifestyle, convenient public transit, and easy avoidance of road congestion.

One of the residential towers, Core, already is open. Milam’s Market is opening on the ground floor of the Cascade Apartment Building, which is planned to open by year-end.

Those interested in residing in the Link at Douglas community can visit cascadeatlink.com and coreatlink.com.

Kristie Milam Guzman, CMO and vice president of Real Estate for Milam’s, said the new site fully embraces the company’s commitment to family.

“We want our stores to be everything that home is — a place where you feel comfortable and are surrounded by individuals who truly care about your well-being,” she said.

Like all Milam’s Markets, the Link at Douglas location features a full-service deli with a Boar’s Head sandwich station, warm prepared foods and breakfast in the morning; a wide selection of deli salads, including the company’s famed Honey Pecan Chicken salad; vegan selections; in-store butchers; Mezzanine seating; organic produce and other organic products; a Kimbo espresso and coffee station; beer from local breweries; a vast wine department, and a wide selection of local products.

As with every store, this Milam’s Market promises an exceptionally engaged and responsive staff of talented associates (apply for this and other stores at milamsmarkets.com/careers).
Milam’s Market at Link at Douglas is open seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Curbside pickup and delivery will be offered in the coming weeks via Instacart. Free parking is available for Milam’s customers on the first two levels of the parking garage located above the store. The garage can be accessed on the north side of the tower, off Peacock Ave.
