This Super Bowl Sunday, more than 2,000 South Florida families, runners, and community leaders will kick off game day with purpose at the Bean Automotive Group Live Like Bella Superhero 5k presented by Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Tropical Park.
The Superhero 5k has become one of South Florida’s largest and most meaningful family-friendly events, uniting survivors, supporters, corporate teams, community leaders, and local schools, to raise awareness and funds for children battling cancer and their families. Participants can walk, run, or support virtually.
Following the race, participants will enjoy a Finish Festival with:
• A Beer Garden
• Kids Dash & Kid’s Zone
• Interactive superhero experiences honoring children impacted by cancer
One of this year’s inspiring participants is AJ de la Rosa, who is training to complete his first 5k in honor of Bella Rodriguez-Torres, whom he says has been his inspiration. AJ has shared how Bella’s story has strengthened his faith and determination to reach the finish line, a powerful reflection of what the Live Like Bella Superhero 5k stands for.
“The Superhero 5k is one of the most meaningful days of the year for our community,” said Nicole de Lara Puente, CEO of Live Like Bella. “We run for the children who are still fighting, the survivors who inspire us, and those whose courage continues to inspire our mission.”
