Moss Foundation’s annual school drive raises $50K to provide school supplies
Supplies are ready to be taken to target schools in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

Moss Foundation, with support and contributions from employees and business partners, delivered $50,000 worth of school supplies to 11 Title 1 public schools in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

Three of the schools were in Miami-Dade: Kinloch Elementary, Phyllis Wheatley Elementary, and Santa Clara Elementary.

The foundation donated uniforms, shoes, socks, undergarments, backpacks, spiral notebooks, loose-leaf paper, composition books, binders, hand sanitizer, markers, pencils, pens, crayons, pencil holders, glue sticks, scissors, headphones, power strips, and classroom size pencil sharpeners.

“The Moss Foundation strives to contribute to the community in tangible ways that produce an immediate and positive impact on our neighbors. The pandemic has taken a toll on family finances, and those negative impacts directly affect students. We wanted to contribute in a positive way that provided kids with a fresh start to the school year,” said Chad Moss, president of the Moss Foundation.

Moss’ CEO, Scott Moss, along with 10 other superintendents, interns and employees departed the foundation’s warehouse together in their fleet vehicles to make deliveries at each location.
