Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO), under the baton of Maestro Eduardo Marturet, will present its 2024-25 Grand Season Finale, “A Mother’s Day Celebration,” on Sunday, May 11, 6 p.m., at the Adrienne Arsht Center.
The extraordinary concert will honor the beauty, love, and strength of mothers through the universal language of music, bringing together wonderful musicians and special guests for an unforgettable evening.
Tatiana Guiribitey, a passionate advocate for the arts and a dedicated supporter of MISO, will be presented with the MISO Golden Baton Award 2025 in recognition of her unwavering commitment to culture and community.
The evening’s featured artists include: Daniel Andai, MISO Concertmaster; Solange Merdinian and Nati Roman, vocalists, plus Christie Julien and Lauren Conde, pianists. There will be a very special performance dedicated to all mothers, by urban singer Justin Quiles.
This one-of-a-kind concert will be a spectacular fusion of orchestral brilliance that will take you on a magical journey through Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite, Piaf’s beloved classics, Beethoven’s Romance No. 2, Kreisler’s Preludio y Allegro, Mozart’s Andante, Rachmaninoff’s Variation 18, and the fabulous music from Carmen by Georges Bizet.
As a special gesture of appreciation, every mother in attendance will receive a beautiful gift, one elegant rose, symbolizing love and gratitude, courtesy of Rosa Prima.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, this is the perfect way to honor the incredible women in our lives with an evening of culture, surprises, and breathtaking music.
