Nearly 900 participants light up Miami’s Vizcaya

Nearly 900 Miami residents stopped traffic on S. Miami Avenue recently for a lantern parade that filled Vizcaya Museum and Gardens with light. Led by Miamibloco — a local samba ensemble of drummers and dancers — they carried handmade lanterns through the historic waterfront gardens for the finale of “Studio Vizcaya: The Fruit We Bear.” Pictured are two of the participants who stopped for a selfie during the event.
