Ring in the new year with music on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the monthly luncheon of the New Neighbors Club of South Dade.
The Nightingales, a relatively new group within New Neighbors, will present familiar music highlighting well-known songs from the United States. These special singers have combined their talents as singers and dancers to create a variety show for members and guests.
Member Sharon Abramson, a graduate of Florida International University’s School of Music and a local piano instructor, leads the Nightingales as well as provides piano accompaniment. Travel back in time with songs that represent a variety of states.
The New Neighbors Club of South Dade meets at the Killian Palms Country Club, 9950 SW 104 St. Doors open at 11 a.m. followed by the luncheon and program at 11:30 a.m. Cost of the lunch is $26 per person.
