The City of North Miami has canceled the 4th of July Celebration out of respect for the families, victims, and residents affected by the Surfside tragedy. The event was scheduled for Sunday, July 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the MOCA Plaza (located at 770 NE 125 Street, North Miami, FL 33161).
“We want to honor and respect those residents who have been impacted by this devastating tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families” stated City Manager Theresa Therilus, Esq.
Our community is standing together with other Miami-Dade County municipalities in support of the neighboring Town of Surfside.
