North Shore Medical Center joined with the Arcola Lakes Park Village of Liberty City and offered health screenings for all in the community. This was the eighth annual community health awareness day.
The event was sponsored by the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ and the National Black Police Association City of Miami chapter. Families came out and enjoyed live entertainment and food.
“We are committed to the health and wellness of our community, and this was a great way to further our mission,” said Manny Linares, CEO of North Shore Medical Center.
