Okan Tower, the 70-story, mixed-use tower set to rise in Downtown Miami, recently hosted a fireside chat at the Virgin MiamiCentral Station Select Lounge, where Jose M. Gonzalez, Florida East Coast Industries senior vice president of Corporate Development, and Christina Crespi, Downtown Development Authority deputy director, shared insight on the city’s transit-oriented development evolution underway. Moderated by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty executive vice president Fernando de Nuñez y Lugones, the panel was attended by more than 60 of Miami’s top brokers who had an exclusive look at the 2020 outlook for Downtown Miami, including new development, urban planning initiatives, and expansion of the Virgin Trains high-speed rail service.
