Original Penguin retail store opens in Brickell City Centre
The store features a wide range of Original Penguin products, including men’s clothing, accessories and footwear.

Global fashion house Perry Ellis International has announced the highly anticipated grand opening of its Original Penguin retail store within Brickell City Centre.

The landmark retail destination aligns perfectly with the area’s affinity for luxury sportswear and complements the brand’s focus on elevating consumer experiences via the energy and dynamic momentum highlighting Miami as a budding global shopping destination.

Located on Level 3 in the West Wing near Saks Fifth Avenue, the new store features a wide range of Original Penguin products, including men’s clothing, accessories and footwear. The collections feature an impressive selection of iconic styles, including the Daddy and Earl polos, premium P55 chinos, golf apparel and beach shop collections including swim and linen, just in time for summer. The store’s interior will reflect the brand’s playful yet sophisticated aesthetic.

Brickell City Centre was the ideal choice for the new location of the new Original Penguin store. Beyond being a premier shopping destination, Brickell City Centre has transformed the area into a vibrant community hub, attracting residents from Brickell and surrounding Miami neighborhoods. Its continuous evolution, incorporating fresh brands and concepts that resonate with the city’s modern and dynamic spirit, made it a natural fit for the Brickell location.

“With the opening of our new Original Penguin store at Brickell City Centre in Miami, we are proud to bring our brand’s unique offerings to an array of new and existing customers to solidify our position as a leading lifestyle brand,” said Oscar Feldenkreis, CEO and president of Perry Ellis International.

He emphasized, “the company’s commitment in elevating the retail experience by offering cutting-edge products developed through extensive trend research, fabric development, and innovative design align with Miami’s unique trajectory towards future growth and success. It will also showcase our distinctive collections, appealing to both fashion-forward savants and those seeking timeless style.”

Original Penguin will be celebrating the grand opening of the new location on Thursday, July 20, at 7 p.m., with a cocktail reception. The first 50 shoppers at the event will receive a complimentary gift while supplies last.

The store is located at 701 S. Miami Ave., Suite #313-A on the Saks wing of Brickell City Centre. For more information about the Original Penguin Store, visit www.pery.com.
