Paramount at Miami Worldcenter penthouse sells for $3.9 million
Paramount at Miami Worldcenter

The latest sale in the Paramount, one of the city’s newest and most luxurious condominium developments, and the cornerstone building of the Miami Worldcenter, America’s largest urban-core construction project, clocks in at a whopping $3.9 million, and the unit is the only sale to go under contract and close within 30 days during the pandemic.

The domestic buyer, represented by Real Estate Agent Vanessa Gomez of Edgewater One International Realty, paid cash for the unit and currently is located out-of-state.

“The fact that this was a cash deal and closed during the pandemic, when so much uncertainty has plagued buyers and sellers alike — especially in condominium buildings — is truly remarkable,” Gomez said. “I think this speaks not only to the trend we are seeing in the market of people relocating to South Florida from more population-dense parts of the country, but also to the truly unique and luxurious building that Paramount is. I was honored to work with my client, the buyer, to help them obtain their dream apartment in Miami.”

The 4,614-square-foot penthouse sold is one of fewer than 30 penthouse units in the 60-story building and boasts four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, complete with rain showers and spa-grade jacuzzis; a formal dining room; custom European chef’s kitchen with 12-foot island; study; additional full bathroom, and a grand master suite that opens out onto more than 530 square feet of sweeping balcony living space with panoramic views of Downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay.

The developer was represented in the sale by Shelley Figueroa on behalf of One World Properties. While The Paramount began selling units pre-construction in 2015, the building only recently completed construction, with its first certificates of occupancy issued last summer.

“Sales at Paramount continue to happen consistently, and there are very few properties remaining unsold, despite the freezing effect on the condo market created by the pandemic. This really speaks to just what an incredible property this is and the unique amenities, design, and lifestyle Paramount offers its residents,” Figueroa said.

The Paramount at Miami World Center has an unparalleled suite of amenities for its residents, including a playground, tennis courts, dog park, jogging path, and soccer field, in addition to traditional luxury amenities such as resort-style pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, poolside bungalows, and more. Not to mention the “Skyport” that was added for resident drones, when — and if — personal drones or flying cars become a mode of transportation in the future.
