Arena Maintains Hold as #1 in Florida, Climbs to #20 in the World MIAMI
AmericanAirlines Arena, home of the three-time NBA Champion Miami HEAT, continues to maintain its position as the #1 arena in Florida and improved its ranking both nationally and internationally by finishing as the #5 arena in the United States (previously 7th), while placing 20th in the world (previously 28th) according to Pollstar’s third quarter rankings for 2014.
AmericanAirlines Arena earned its lead ranking by selling over 310,000 tickets for the firstthree quarters of 2014 for a variety of concerts, family shows and other special events.

AmericanAirlines Arena, which will celebrate it’s 15th anniversary on December 31st, has proudly hosted megastars such as Marc Anthony, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, One Direction, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, U2, Justin Timberlake, Phish, Madonna, Maná, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars to name a few. In addition, AmericanAirlines Arena is home to family shows such as the Harlem Globetrotters, Disney on Ice, and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, which maintains a long term, exclusive South Florida run.
