South Florida PBS (WPBT, WXEL, & Health Channel) is kicking off October with NEW episodes of Call the Midwife, Grantchester, The Kennedy Center at 50, NOVA, Independent Lens: Cured, plus a new Health Channel original show, Sex Talk hosted by Dr. Lia Jiannine.
During October, we continue to shine a light on Hispanic heritage with programs that celebrate Latino culture, including a new American Masters documentary on Rita Moreno, a new PBS kid’s show, Alma’s Way, the 34th Hispanic Heritage Awards and much more!
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Health Channel offers new programs on Breast Cancer and Women’s Health.
