PSC virtual customer service hearings scheduled for FPLThe Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct virtual customer service hearings for customers of Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) on June 3 and June 4.

In February 2025, FPL filed a petition with the PSC for a rate increase. FPL provides electric service to 6 million retail customers throughout northwest and peninsular Florida.

Service hearings allow customers to provide public comments on FPL’s request and its quality of service. Customer input will be considered when the commission decides the utility’s request.

Customers wanting to speak at a virtual customer meeting may register by:
• using the online registration form, available on the PSC’s website under Hot Topics on the home page and clicking on the Sign-up to Speak link; or

• calling the PSC at 1-850-413-7080, or

• emailing the PSC at speaker-signup@psc.state.fl.us.
Online speaker registration closes on June 2 at noon.

Virtual service hearings are scheduled for the following times:
Tuesday, June 3, 6 p.m. EDT
Wednesday, June 4, 10 a.m. ED
Wednesday, June 4, 2 p.m. EDT

Customers unable to participate can watch the live meeting on the PSC’s website (click “Watch Live and Archived PSC Events”).
