Pure Water Factory, an alkaline drinking water store recently opened in Coconut Grove. Is it a water factory? Can we manufacture water? It turns out you can and its healthier, less expensive, and environmentally friendlier.
Pure Water Factory has a custom made onsite multi-stage filtration system that eliminates inorganic chemicals, micro-organisms, heavy metals, and other contaminants from municipal water. The process strips the water down to pure H2O. The lab results are available in the shop for customer review. Once the water is pure and the chemicals are eliminated it’s time to replace the minerals. To do this, the filtration system carries the water through a globally sourced complex mineral blend as if it were running along the rocks in a spring. The ore provides a natural infusion of minerals, which is healthier than the mineral drops used by other water companies. The final step is the triple reverse osmosis rendering the water Ultra Pure with a 9.5pH alkaline water that is also very tasty.
Company founders Elliot Durant, and Elliott James were working in film and tv in Hollywood when Covid hit. The studios were ordered to close. Instead of waiting for them to reopen Elliot and Elliott decided to do what entrepreneurs do – they saw a need and decided to fill it by starting a business. Elliot Durant called his brother David, who loved the opportunity they saw in Miami. The three of them decided to start PWF. It took some time to secure funding, get a location in Coconut Grove, and work out the logistics. And, nearly two years after the idea was born, vision became reality on March 7th, 2022.
The goal is to bring ultra-pure water into every household and office in Miami for only $3.00 a gallon, which is less than every other water delivery service available. Delivery is free and no contract is necessary. Or you can also stop by the shop to buy and fill bottles or to chat water with Elliott and Elliot or Steve Cameron, who handles transportation and logistics.

This is the greatest Health experience that’s come to Miami in a long time. Our bodies are made of 97% water so why wouldn’t we want the best drinking water available to us at such a low cost? It tastes wonderful!
