Registration is now open for fall miniterms at Miami Dade College

Registration is now open for Miami Dade College’s (MDC) 2024 fall miniterms, starting at dates through Oct. 21. These courses, available in 8-, 12-, and 14-week formats, offer a flexible and efficient path to achieving your educational goals with significant financial assistance available.

In addition to financial aid, MDC offers several scholarships, such as the new Future Ready Miami-Dade Scholarship, which provides Miami-Dade County residents with the opportunity to obtain an associate degree at MDC at zero cost. Other opportunities include the Presidential Scholars Program, Rising Scholars Program and Fast Track Sharks Program, designed to support first-year college students.

The fall term will usher in new programs, including Florida’s first Bachelor of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI), preparing students for direct entry into the workforce as AI Analysts, Natural Language Processing Specialists, Computer Vision Analysts, Machine Learning Specialists, and AI Programmers. The curriculum also trains students to pursue advanced degrees in computer science or other STEM fields.

MDC offers hundreds of degree pathways leading to associate and bachelor’s degrees and numerous short-term workforce programs and courses. Classes are imparted in four flexible attendance options that include: In person, MDC Blended (on-campus and virtual), MDC Live (100 percent virtual at set times) and MDC Online (100 percent virtual at any time).

Monday, Sept. 9 (14-week miniterm)
Monday, Sept. 23 (12-week miniterm).
Monday, Oct. 21 (second 8-week miniterm)
