Miami-Dade County Parks is dedicated to keeping kids healthy and active all year long, offering numerous opportunities to enjoy exciting and educational activities and adventures in popular parks and green spaces.

During fall break, treat the kids to fresh air, awesome outdoor activities, and the opportunity to learn about conservation as well as make new friends and lifelong memories, by enrolling them in one of Miami-Dade Parks’ fun and affordable fall camps.

Miami-Dade Parks will offer a full-day of general program camps for children ages 6-14, from Monday, Nov. 20, through Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 19 conveniently located parks throughout the county. Camps will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Camps not only will thrill and challenge children, but they are fully supervised, offering parents peace of mind during the school break while their child enjoys a full recreational schedule filled with fitness activities, sports, arts and crafts, nature encounters, social and emotional learning, nutrition education, and much more.

In addition, children will learn about the benefits of going green, as they discover that a healthy planet is essential for a healthy life by learning the basics of recycling, water conservation, and other eco-friendly behaviors that are beneficial to the environment.

There are specialized camps which focus on a specific interest and offer unique experiences that include EcoAdventures, Deering Estate, and Zoo Miami.
