The Rider Residences, Miami’s highly anticipated luxury boutique condominium, officially has broken ground.
Located at 94 NE 29 St. at the crossroads of Miami’s vibrant Wynwood, Midtown, Edgewater, and Design District neighborhoods, the 12-story development is a collaboration between renowned South Florida real estate developer Rilea Group and Miami-based Ciprés.
The project, which features 146 fully furnished turn-key residences, innovative resort-style amenities, and a striking design that exudes confidence and sophistication, is poised to redefine flexible, high-end living in one of Miami’s most dynamic districts. With construction now underway, completion of The Rider is slated for late 2026.
“The groundbreaking of The Rider marks an exciting new chapter, not just for us as developers, but for Miami as a whole,” said Diego Ojeda, president of Rilea Group and founder of Ciprés. “The energy and enthusiasm from buyers validate our vision for this project. With construction now officially in motion, we are eager to bring this one-of-a-kind concept to life and continue building on the momentum we’ve established.”
With prices ranging from the $500,000s to upwards of $1.8 million, The Rider will offer fully furnished studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences and penthouse units, with select floorplans featuring dens and half baths, measuring between 386 and 1,612 square feet in size.
“The groundbreaking of The Rider signifies an exciting transformation in this part of Miami, and buyers are eager to be part of it,” said Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, managing partner of Cervera Real Estate, the exclusive sales and marketing brokerage for The Rider. “With its unmatched location, flexible ownership model, and curated lifestyle offerings, this project is attracting a diverse range of buyers, from second-home seekers to investors and full-time residents.”
The Rider’s spectacular architectural façade, designed by Miami-based architecture firm Deforma Studio, will combine the feel of Chicago’s industrial chic aesthetic and the exposed brick, steel, and concrete found in New York’s SoHo and Meat Packing Districts with Miami’s vibrant artistic flavor.
The Rider’s design is led by Miami-based award-winning studio RADYCA, which specializes in superyacht and luxury real estate projects in South Florida and around the world, infusing the property with a fearless statement-making aesthetic. With the building’s interiors exuding a daring, high-fashion aesthetic inspired by the glamor and edge of the 1970s, RADYCA’s design inspiration draws from a mix of art, film, fashion, and music – while utilizing midcentury furnishings and a $1 million art collection of fine photography from Los Angeles’ Morrison Hotel Gallery and London’s Iconic Images Gallery.
Residences will feature open living areas, gourmet kitchens with Italian Bertazonni appliances, Italkraft cabinets, Dekton countertops, spa-inspired baths with Porcelanosa fixtures, smart home technology with keyless entry, and impact-resistant windows. The aesthetic of the residences will mirror the building’s common area designs, with rich hues, bold fabrics and a distinctive glamour.
Amenities at The Rider are designed to cater to residents’ and guests’ every desire, from wellness and relaxation to entertainment and adventure. The building will house a rooftop resort-style pool overlooking the city, a high-end restaurant and speakeasy bar accessible via a private elevator, a hi-fi vinyl listening room, a pet spa, and a fitness center outfitted with top-tier equipment. Additional features include multiple cold plunge pools, infrared saunas, IV therapy services, and a traditional marble Hammam/Turkish Bath.
For those seeking adventure, The Rider will provide a fleet of in-house Harley Davidson motorcycles, Vespas, and electric bicycles for rent, along with 24-hour valet service, EV charging stations, and a private parking garage.
Strategically positioned near Wynwood’s upcoming high-speed rail station, The Rider will offer seamless access to South Florida’s key destinations, including Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando.
The Rider is a joint venture between Rilea Group and Ciprés, a newly formed real estate development firm specializing in exquisite residential projects that balance elegance with innovation. Ciprés is also developing a 324-unit multifamily community in Port St. Lucie, expanding its footprint in Florida’s rapidly growing real estate market.
Rilea Group also is developing the adjacent property to The Rider – Mohawk at Wynwood, a 12-story, 300-unit multifamily development with 31,000 square feet of ground-floor retail located at 56 NE 29 St. The Rider will follow the success of the firm’s sold-out, luxury condominium The Bond on Brickell; 1450 Brickell Office Tower, home to J.P. Morgan’s headquarters; One Broadway luxury apartment tower; and the Sabadell Financial Center – all set within Miami’s sought-after Brickell Financial District, nicknamed “Wall Street South.”
