Saiko‑i Sushi Lounge & Hibachi has officially opened a new outpost in Plantation, marking the brand’s third South Florida location and its largest restaurant to date. Located at the Shoppes at Broward, the modern Japanese concept brings high-energy hibachi dining, inventive sushi, and an expansive lounge-style setting to the area.
Led by restaurateur Tina Wang and Chef Jason Zheng—the team behind Coco Sushi Lounge and Yakitori Sushi House—the Plantation location blends theatrical teppanyaki performances with curated sushi, sashimi, and signature rolls. The new restaurant joins Saiko-i’s existing locations in Boca Raton and Parkland, expanding the brand’s presence in Broward County.
Designed as a social, celebratory space, the restaurant features multiple hibachi tables, a full sushi bar, and a covered outdoor patio. Natural wood finishes, bold red accents, statement lighting, and art-driven details create a polished yet welcoming environment that transitions easily from weekday dining to lively weekend nights.
The Plantation location introduces exclusive, chef-crafted menu items alongside established favorites. New offerings include specialty rolls such as the Sunrise Roll, Four Season Roll, Fantastic Roll, Foie Gras Tower, and Salmon Lover, as well as sushi bar entrées like Eel Donburi. Hot and kitchen entrées include grilled Spanish octopus, beef tenderloin with port wine tobanyaki sauce, and curry-braised short ribs, all served with jasmine rice.
Saiko-i Plantation offers a wide range of dining options, including a full hibachi experience with classic combinations, weekday lunch specials, and a bottomless weekend brunch. The beverage program highlights Japanese whisky, sake, and handcrafted cocktails, complemented by a daily happy hour and rotating weekly specials.
Open seven days a week, Saiko-i Plantation aims to deliver an energetic yet approachable dining experience suitable for casual meals, celebrations, and group gatherings, further solidifying the brand’s reputation as a destination for modern Japanese cuisine in South Florida.
