Seaquarium celebrates holidays with penguin-themed festivities

Waddle over to Miami Seaquarium this holiday season for a penguin-perfect holiday celebration.

In celebration of the holidays, the penguin festivities at the park will feature holiday-themed shows with the return of Flipper and friends show and a Sea Lion show featuring Salty the Stinch, plus daily costume character meet and greets with Pepe the Penguin, and a free penguin plush for each guest age 12 and under participating in the Penguin Encounter Program.

Additional holiday festivities to include new wildlife conservation presentations: a new endangered sea turtle presentation and daily Reef Ranger educational presentations on the endangered African Penguins.

Enjoy an early holiday present — see the newest addition to the Miami Seaquarium family, a dolphin calf born in late October. The dolphin calf was born to Panama, a half Atlantic and half Pacific bottlenose dolphin in the Top Deck Dolphin pool.

“Penguin Holidays” starts Dec. 23 and runs through Jan. 7, 2018. In addition, special admission pricing is available online.
